PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display remote control system suited for utilizing displays connected to a wide area network. SOLUTION: Projectors PS1 -PSn and a client 100 are communicably connected through fiber walls 502, 504. The client 100 transmits projector display data to the projectors PS1 -PSn in a communication system of an electronic mail format being outside the control of the fire walls 502, 504. Upon receipt of the projector display data in the communication system of the electronic mail format being outside the control of the fire walls 502, 504, the projectors PS1 -PSn project the contents of the received projector display data, based thereon, using a projection apparatus 86.
