PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power unit where the control of a switching circuit is performed accurately. SOLUTION: This switching power unit is equipped with a transformer 38, a full bridge type of switching circuit 37 which is provided on the primary side of the transformer and includes first and second arms, output circuits 42 and 45 which are provided on the secondary side of the transformer 38, and a control circuit 46 which controls the phase shift of the switching circuit 37. The control circuit 46 generates output signal pulses A and B for driving a first arm based on a block signal CLK, and generates output signal pulses C and D for driving a second arm based on internal signals DELAY A and B activated at dead time of the first arm.
