The indoor footwear has an upper (10) and a sole (12) of closed cell polyurethane foam (415 cm<3>), molded onto it. The polyurethane foam has a density 0.3-0.4 g/cm<3>; Shore A hardness 12 - 14; Asker hardness 24 - 27; load at rupture 9 kg/cm<2>; elongation at rupture 230%; tear strength 4 kg/cm; and number of flexion cycles without hole at least 30,000. The upper (10) is made from e.g. foam (18) sandwiched between outer (14) and inner (16) layers of fabric.
