<p>Peptides having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 or a substantially the same amino acid sequence and being capable of binding to receptor proteins having the amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NO: 11, 12 or 13 or a substantially the same amino acid sequence, and precursors, amides, esters and salts of these peptides. DNAs, etc. encoding these peptides are usable in: (i) developing receptor-binding assay systems and screening candidate compounds for drugs with the use of an expression system of a recombinant receptor protein; (ii) developing drugs with little side effect such as memory function improving agents, appetite improving agents and function controllers for uterus, kidney, prostate, testis or skeletal muscle, etc.</p> |
