PURPOSE: Catalysts for the purification of automobile exhaust gas using compressed natural gas (CNG) as fuel and its fabrication method are provided to remove methanols by almost 90 % efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The fabrication method of catalysts for the purification of automobile exhaust gas using compressed natural gas is characterized in that a ceramic carrier, based on 1L of the ceramic carrier, is supported with 20 to 200 gram of activated alumina (γ-Al2O3); 0 to 50 gram of La2O3 as an auxiliary catalyst; 0 to 50 gram of CeO2; 0 to 20 gram of BaO; and 0.1 to 10 gram of noble metals as catalyst activator.
