PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supported manual elevating screen for projection which can be self-supported and held in arbitrary pull-out height and can be carried when stored and to provide a bed with storage-type screen. SOLUTION: In the self-supported manual elevating screen, a spring roll-type screen body 2 is fixed on a base member 6. The base end of a pantograph 15 forming an almost parallelogram shape by two arms in each of upper and lower stages is attached pivotally to a bracket 7 formed in the center of the base member 6, and the tip there of to the center of a screen upper end support bar 5 so as to extend/contract the pantograph in synchronism with of the elevation of the screen. An energizing means constituted of pulleys 8 and 11, springs 9 and 12 and wires 10 and 13 energizes inward drawing force to the lower stage arm of the pantograph 15, and the energizing force is balanced to screen lowering force. The screen is fitted to a bed end part and the bed with storage- type screen is formed.
