MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING MULTILAYERED MOLDED OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a multilayered molded object efficiently and safely. SOLUTION: A pair of male and female molds are used in order to manufacture the multilayered molded object by supplying a molten thermoplastic resin to the back sides of first and second skin materials adjacent to each other in a planar direction to laminate the skin materials and the thermoplastic resin. A grasping member housing part is formed to the cavity surface of the mold positioned on the back side of the skin materials among the male and female molds and a grasping member constituted of a pair of grasping pieces grasping the boundary part of the first and second skin materials to be opposed to each other is housed in the grasping member housing part. The mold is constituted so that both grasping pieces are separated when the grasping member is projected into the cavity from the grasping member housing part by a drive transmission mechanism to insert/release the boundary port of the skin materials with respect to the gap between the grasping pieces and, when the grasping member is fitted in the grasping member housing part by the drive transmission mechanism or the own weight of the grasping member, both grasping pieces are brought to a contact state to grasp the boundary port of the skin materials.
