A retainer for spectacles includes a flexible noose which in use locates around the neck of the wearer and a fastener attached to the noose for securing it to just one sidearm of the spectacles. The fastener can comprise a rubber loop through which the sidearm can be inserted, or a clamp slidable on the noose to trap the sidearm between the clamp and either the noose or a further clamp secured to the noose. |
