PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire eliminating adhesion deterioration in a carcass and improving the durability in traveling, especially traveling by run-flat tires. SOLUTION: The reinforced cord of a carcass ply is set to nylon 66 having a melting point of 250 deg. or higher measured by DSC(Differential Scanning Calorimetry) so as to provide firm adhesion with a rubber member at a high temperature, and when the run-flat tire becomes hot in traveling, this constitution can suppress the peeling between the reinforced cord and the rubber. A rubber- nonwoven fabric composite body 9 formed by covering the nonwoven fabric with the rubber is disposed in a sidewall part 10 so as to enhance the rigidity of the sidewall part 10 and secure the steering stability in traveling by the run-flat tires. The surface of a filament fiber comprising the nonwoven fabric is formed with a metal film or metal compound film capable of reacting with sulfur, the film improves the adhesion performance between the filament fiber and the coating rubber so as to improve the durability of the sidewall part 10.
