PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail type carriage surely preventive of turn-over without widening the treads of travel rails. SOLUTION: The carriage 2 comprises tires 11 provided on the front, rear, right and left sides of a body frame 8 for travelling on a pair of travel rail 10 arranged in parallel and a sliding fork 9 mounted on the body frame 8 for transferring cargoes 3 with the expanding operation along a direction Y which cuts across a travelling direction X, wherein recessed portions 10a are formed on the outside faces of the travel rails 10, respectively, and turn-over preventive guide rollers 12 located in the recessed portions 10a of the travel rails 10 for rolling the ceiling faces thereof are provided on the body frame 8.
