PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for polylactic acid splitting enzyme and/or proteinase K-like protease production. SOLUTION: This method for polylactic acid splitting enzyme and/or proteinase K-like protease production is characterized in that a bacterium capable of producing a polylactic acid splitting enzyme and/or a bacterium capable of producing a proteinase K-like protease in the presence of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a glycine residue-containing oligopeptide, an alanine resistance-containing oligopeptide, valine resistance-containing oligopeptide, valine, alanine, glycine, gelatin, soybean, collagen, elastin, keratin, silk fibroin and silk fibroin hydrolyzate is cultured and the polylactic acid splitting enzyme and/or the proteinase K-like protease is collected from the culture.
