PURPOSE: A system and a method for the remote medical examination of an iris by using a network are provided to make many users effectively share the information generated for the analysis of the iris by databasing the information obtained through the examination of the iris. CONSTITUTION: An iris imaging camera(20) picks up an image of the iris by analyzing the color values of the black and white colors, adjusting an automatic focus, and aligning the iris on a right position. A remote terminal(30) is inputted with the image of the iris, converts the image into a series of code, and outputs the result data on a screen or via a printer. An encryption code includes an iris password code, a terminal password code, a personal password, an age, a gender, the images of the left and right irises, and a finishing password code. A communication unit(40) transmits the encryption code to a central server(70). The central server(70) checks the decoded encryption code and controls the image data of the iris. The central server(70) generates a focus change result and transmits the result to the remote terminal(30). An iris information database(92) updates the information about the iris in the real time.
