PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that up to the present time, there exists no article which can press eyelids so as not to open after death. SOLUTION: The eye mask is characterized by providing a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 with a release paper at the central part of the back surface of a main body 1 provided with a recessed part 2 or a cutout at the central part and providing pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 4 each with a release paper or hooking braids on both end parts. The main body is for example formed into a sunglasses and is preferably a transparent body or a semitransparent body on the surface of which characters can be written. When it is removed after several hours after death, the eyelids are surely left closed just as they were closed.
