PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CRT deflection system protective circuit with less number of components. SOLUTION: An IC 1 is provided with a video detection circuit, a chroma processing circuit that demodulates a chroma signal from a video signal obtained by the video detection circuit and processes the chroma signal to output an RGB signal, a synchronous pulse generating circuit that generates a horizontal pulse and a vertical pulse on the basis of a synchronizing signal separated from the video signal, a 1st circuit 7 that provides the generated vertical pulse to a vertical drive circuit, and a 2nd circuit to provide the generated horizontal pulse to a horizontal output circuit 2. The IC 1 is provided with a 1st detection circuit 7 that detects a flyback pulse FP from a flyback transformer 4, a 2nd detection circuit 8 that detects a ramp signal RS in the vertical drive circuit 3, and a circuit 9 that generates a signal to cut off a power supply of a microcomputer 5 for giving drive data to the IC 1 when at least either of the ramp signal and the flyback pulse is not detected. |
