PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to improve the assembly of a convergence unit being coupled to a plate of a coil separator by providing a connecting unit on the convergence unit and a fixing unit. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal deflection coil(14) and a vertical deflection coil(15) are provided, respectively, on inner and outer surfaces of a coil separator(10), and form horizontal deflection magnetic field and vertical deflection magnetic field. A ferrite core(16) reinforces the magnetic fields through the deflection coils(14,15). A convergence unit(20) is fixed to a unit-fixing unit(13) and controls the convergence characteristics on a screen. The coil separator(10) is comprised of a screen unit(11) and a rear plate(12). The convergence unit(20) forms a rotation preventing groove and a release preventing groove. The unit-fixing unit(13) forms a rotation prevent supporting flap(13b) and a release prevent supporting flap(13a) in a shape which corresponds to the rotation preventing groove and the release preventing groove.
