PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating system, a program and an information storage medium, with which the halation of a light source can be expressed with much more realism. SOLUTION: When a light source object 200 to become the expression object of halation is located inside an object space, a halation object 204 is located on a straight line connecting the light source object and a virtual camera 202. In respect to an area when a solar ray source object to become a reference form is located within a prescribed distance from the virtual camera 202, the ratio of the area of a rendering image in the light source object 200 and the solar ray source object is found and on the basis of this ratio, the transparency or color information of the halation object is changed. |
