FIELD: welding processes, namely surfacing operations, particularly electrode coating applying. SUBSTANCE: electrode coating charge contains (mass %): fluorspar, 18 - 20; graphite, 8 - 12; ferrochrome, 2 - 5; tungsten containing concentrate - the balance. Charge contains as tungsten-containing concentrate scheelite and(or) wolframite concentrate including (mass %): tungsten oxide, 45 - 72; ferrum oxide, 10 - 12: manganese oxide, 2 - 10; silica, 3 - 8. It is possible to use as base of electrode coating tungsten- containing raw minerals for enhancing physical and mechanical properties of surfaced metal.
