The conical taper of each peg (1) is very slight, enabling each peg to be firmly jammed into the socket (2) in each building component (3). A variety of pegs may be produced, with the two cones in line or at 90 degrees to each other or at various obtuse angles, e.g. 135 degrees to each other. The ends of the building components may be mitered.
