<p>The housing has a main body (30) with a front plate (32) having air inlet openings and a back plate having air outlet openings. The inner side of the front plate is coated with a titanium oxide photo catalyst layer. A fastening plate (34), also coated with such a layer, is fastened to the inner side of the front plate. A UV light source (20) is attached to the fastening plate. A wire filter (36) also coated with a titanium oxide layer is provided between the front plate and the fastening plate. An air cleaner (40) is provided in the housing to clean air flowing in the inlet aperture and out the outlet aperture. The air cleaner has a coated housing (42) containing an air filter (44). The filter is held in place by a metal frame (46). The housing has a cover (48) with an air aperture (482) for diverting the air from the inlet opening to the outlet opening. A UV light source is provided on the cover (48). A suction device (32) is provided at the hole in the cover.</p> |
