PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car stop reducing the number of light-emitting devices while shortening the confirmation works of light-emitting operation. SOLUTION: The car stop 11 is composed of a car-stop block 13 with a section facing the sea side and as a section facing the land side. Slits 14a and 14b in which the section on the sea side and the section on the land side are inserted are formed to the lower section of the car-stop block 13. Light-emitting sections incorporated into a light-emitting unit 15a and a light-emitting unit 15b are installed so as to be projected to the slit 14a and the slit 14b. The light-emitting states of the light-emitting sections can be recognized visually from both sides of the car-stop block 13 through the slit 14a and the slit 14b.
