PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slat conveyer device capable of freely and rapidly changing a pitch between conveyed matters in response to a line condition. SOLUTION: In this slat conveyer having a slat 3 mounted to an endless chain 5 reciprocating revolutionarily, a support carriage 7 for loading and supporting the conveyed matters is guided by guide rails 6 disposed on both sides of the slat 3 in the longitudinal directions, namely in the same direction as the progressing direction of the slat conveyer and the opposite direction to the progressing direction, and is disposed movably. The support carriage 7 is provided with guide rods 11 for frictionally contacting the support carriage 7 with the guide rails 6 at any moving position by pressing the support carriage 7 to the guide rails 6 with the load of the conveyed matters supported by the support carriage 7.
