PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a sloping device with a light-weight sloping mechanism, which is able to secure ride quality of passengers on both sides. SOLUTION: A vehicle body 8 is supported on a wagon frame 4 through aerial springs 5. A torsion bar is loaded on the wagon frame 4 in the cross direction of the vehicle body 8. Links 15L and 15R sloping to the inside of the vehicle body 8 at both end of the torsion bar 11 through levers 13 and 13. The upper end of the links are connected to the vehicle body 8. Thus, a rolling variation at both end of the vehicle body 8 is constrained, and deficiency of sloping angle of the links 15 is solved with its structure, which does not constrain ups and downs variation of the same phase when running on a short trajectory route as well. Occurrence of excess centrifugal acceleration, which works on the vehicle body 8, ensures proper operation of vehicle body sloping by a link mechanism. Thus, the rail road vehicle can be realized in lightweight and at reasonable cost.
