PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a habitable room, which can ensure excellent safety while ensuring daylighting properties and clearness of sight lines. SOLUTION: This structure of the habitable room 21 is constituted in such a manner that fittings 1 are provided in an opening 30 of a partition wall 3 between the habitable room 21 and a hall 22; and the fittings 1 are composed of a frame body 11 which is framed in such a manner as to be opened by a height from a vicinity of a person's feet to a vicinity of his/her head, a glass plate 12 which is fitted into the frame body 11, and a lattice 13 which is made to protect the glass plate 12.
