PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tensile member whose diameter does not become larger even in use in the form of a bundle of a plurality of PC steel materials. SOLUTION: This tensile member 1 has the following structure: a core material 3 is formed by annularly arranged PC steel materials 2, outer peripheral materials 4 and 5 consisting of annularly arranged PC steel materials 2 are arranged around the core material 3, and a clad grip 6 attached on the tip of the PC steel materials constituting the core material 3 and clad grips 7 and 8 attached on the tips of the PC steel materials constituting the outer peripheral materials 4 and 5 respectively are mutually vertically shiftedly arranged.
