PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet karaoke machine in which time from the read of musical composition data being lyric data until color change reproduction is shortened in carrying out color change of the lyric, and to provide a method for Internet karaoke. SOLUTION: In constructing the Internet karaoke machine, the lyric is displayed by color change by using MIDI(musical instruments digital interface) data that include a separator to change the color of the lyric to be displayed.
