摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make an Fe-Ni series alloy ingot, by which a shadow mask having little uneven seam can be manufactured at high productivity and low cost, by using a consumable electrode specifying Ni content and reducing C content and making a remelted cast ingot regulating S and 0. CONSTITUTION:In the making method for Fe-Ni series alloy ingot containing 20-60wt% Ni, the consumable electrode of the above alloy having <=0.005% C is prepared. This ultra low carbon alloy consumable electrode is obtd. by a vacuum induction melting. By remelting this consumable electrode, finally the ingot having <=0.002% S and <=0.005% 0 is obtd. This remelting is desirably executed by electroslag remelting. Then, the melting zone is made to be non- oxidizing atmosphere by sealing inert gas and further, it is desirable to continuously or intermittently add Al in the slag over the whole remelting period.</p>
