Method of injection molding plastic lens

A method of injection molding a plastic lens by filling molten resin into a cavity of a heated injection molding assembly. The molten resin is then pressurised and subsequently cooled within the assembly to solidify the resin to form a lens. Finally, the lens is ejected from the cavity. The cooling time of the assembly is determined in accordance with the power of the lens to be formed.
