PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device equipped with a fixing roller constituted of a thin core bar and capable of preventing deflection and crush by enhancing the strength of the core bar without using a special reinforcing member and preventing the lowering of the accuracy of outside dimension easily caused at the intersection part of ribs in the case of integrally forming the ribs extended in an axial direction and a peripheral direction on the inner surface of the core bar in order to eliminate faulty fixing and the breakage of the fixing roller, and an image forming device. SOLUTION: This fixing device 10 is equipped with the fixing roller 12 equipped with a heat source 19 inside and also a thin cylindrical core bar 21 rotatably supported, and a pressure roller 13 abutting on the outer peripheral surface of the roller 12. The ribs 22 and 23 extended in the axial direction and the peripheral direction respectively are formed severally on the inner peripheral surface of the core bar and the rib extended in the axial direction has hollow structure.
