PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing mechanism or fan which can be simply assembled and is strong. SOLUTION: This closing mechanism or fan is equipped with a plurality of closing members (closing pieces 4, 6, 8), rotary connecting means (rotary connecting part 14) to rotatably connect the closing members to the rotation support point (O) side, engaging pieces (24, 26) cut arid erected from a part or a whole of the closing members, slits (30, 32) which are formed in the intermediate parts of a part or a whole of the closing members and to which the engaging pieces are inserted in and slidably engaged, etc. Thus the closing mechanism or fan can be simply assembled and is made strong.
