PERSONAL PORTABLE DOSIMETER

PURPOSE: A personal portable dosimeter is provided to achieve improved portability and allow dose rate to be conveniently and accurately calculated. CONSTITUTION: A personal portable dosimeter(20) comprises a power unit for supplying power to the dosimeter; a sensor unit for sensing dose rate when the power is supplied from the power unit; a central processing unit for putting the dose rate measured by the sensor unit, into digital data form and processing the data; a display unit(60) for displaying the dose rate which is put into digital data form by the central processing unit; a communication unit for transmitting the dose rate displayed on the display unit to a computer; and a key input unit(70) for initializing dose rate and inputting dose rate per unit time and general conditions to the central processing unit. The power unit includes a low voltage driving section for receiving voltages generated from an external source; a high voltage amplifying section for amplifying and boosting the low voltage transmitted from the low voltage driving section; and a stabilizer circuit for outputting a constant voltage from the voltage boosted by the high voltage amplifying section.
