PURPOSE: A valve timing-variable device of the engine for a vehicle is provided to integrally rotate a rotor and a housing at the very beginning of starting while reducing the number of hydraulic chambers and seals and decreasing required driving hydraulic pressure. CONSTITUTION: A valve timing-variable device of the engine for a vehicle comprises a rotor(10) fixed at the end portion of an exhaust cam shaft interlocked to a crank shaft; a housing(20) having the rotor within a space for movement(21); and a piston(30) installed in a hydraulic cylinder(11) formed inside the rotor. The housing forms a sprocket(22) on the outer peripheral surface so as to interlock a sprocket of an intake cam shaft through a chain. The piston changes the phase of the housing by reciprocating, with connected to the housing through a rod(31).
