PURPOSE: A resin composition for a plastic optical lens, its preparation method, and a plastic optical lens prepared from the composition are provided, to improve the refractive index, the transmittance, the heat resistance, the impact resistance, the hardness, the chemical resistance, the dye-affinity and the adhesion strength to a film of the optical lens. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises 30-75 wt% of a modified alkylene glycol bisallyl carbonate represented by the formula 1; 10-50 wt% of a copolymer of a modified diallyl isophthalate and an alkylene glycol bisallyl carbonate represented by the formula 2; and 10-50 wt% of a diallyl isophthalate or a diallyl terephthalate, wherein R is a divalent or trivalent alcohol moiety of C1-C20; R1' is H or an alkyl group of C1-C4; n is an integer of 0-12; and -COO- bonded to a benzene ring is an isomer bonded to the 1,3-position or the 1,4-position.
