FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly production of forgings by die forging process. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making forgings from heated strip in working zone of die set by chopping blank 9 from strip 8 over forging positions; moving blank to level of seat 7 of die set; fixing it; orienting along positions of die set; joining with grips and shifting from-under space of chopping position to first forging position 15; after moving first blank 9 to position 15 advancing it to chopping position and cutting off next blank 14; then working first blank 9 in two next forging positions 16, 17 and moving it out of working zone of die set. Next blank 14 after passing all positions after blank 9 is fed to position 15 when first blank 9 is moved out of working zone of die set. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of making forgings from strip due to improved quality of performing separate operations. 3 cl, 7 dwg, 1 ex |
