RECYCLABLE MOISTURE−PROOF PACKAGING PAPER

A recyclable moisture−proof packaging paper for use as a receiving paper for electrostatic copiers which has a moisture−proof layer having almost the same moisture resistance and water repellency as a polyethylene laminate layer. One side of a paper is coated with a moisture−proof layer comprising at least the following ingredients (1) to (3): (1) fine calcium carbonate particles, (2) a thin polymer film which has been formed from an allyl acrylate emulsion and an ester polymer and with which the individual fine calcium carbonate particles are coated; and (3) a latex of a synthetic rubber formed from a conjugated diene compound and other copolymerizable compound(s).
