PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotating equipment that rotates a rotary drum by means of an ultrasonic motor and can make the drum rotatable at non-driving time. SOLUTION: This rotating equipment 1 is provided with a stator 29 which generates oscillations, a rotor 13 which rotates based on the oscillations of the stator 29 which is rotor 13 is press-contacted with the stator 29, and the rotary drum 2 which is connected to the rotor 13 through a speed reduction mechanism 6, so as to almost completely house the stator 29 and rotor 13. The equipment 1 is also provided with screw mechanisms 3e and 31b which are constituted to be separated from the rotor 13, since the stator 29 is moved in the axial direction of the drum 2, when the stator 29 is, for example, rotated manually. Consequently, the drum 2 can be rotated by easily canceling self- holding between the stator 29 and rotor 13 at non-driving time. |
