PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a tire having an inner liner-less structure letting a carcass ply have air pressure holding force without damaging the productivity thereof. SOLUTION: In a secondary ply forming process S2 for pasting a cover rubber sheet 17 on one surface of a splice sheet 16, the splice sheet 16 and the cover rubber sheet 17 are cut into a regular size over one round winding length and the cut-to size splice sheet 16A is set so that one end peripheral edge thereof is inwardly positioned separated by a spaced-apart part Y1 of a distance L1 and the other peripheral edge thereof is protruded so as to have a protruded part Y2 of a distance L2 to be pasted on the cover rubber sheet 17A.
