PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warp knitted blanket with excellent thermal insulation capacity. SOLUTION: The warp knitted blanket has a front loop pile 2 formed on the surface of a ground texture 1 and a back loop pile 3 is formed on the rear thereof. The ground texture 1 is formed out of chain stitch yarns 4, which are arranged and bound together by insertion yarns 5. The front loop pile 2 is formed out of front knit yarns 6, which are so arranged as to bind between adjacent stitched parts 6a and 6a, stitched to chain stitch yarns 4a, with yarn portions thereof. The back loop pile 3 is formed out of back knit yarns 7, which are so arranged as to bind between adjacent insertion parts 7a and 7a, inserted into chain stitch yarns 4b, with yarn portions thereof. The front loop pile 2 and the back loop pile 3 respectively use wool yarns. The warp knitted blanket preferably meet the equation of [(proper clo value/unit thickness)×(proper clo value/unit weight)]>=8.0×10<-4> .
