PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver of an SECAM-L system capable of hardly generating a buzz sound even in an on-vehicle television receiver whose receiving condition is largely changed. SOLUTION: In a television receiver in an SECAM-L system, a PIF trap circuit 6 for attenuating a video signal frequency is added to the output part of an SAW filter 4 for an SIF for extracting an SIF signal from an IF signal to be outputted from a tuner 2 so that the signal can be amplified/detected in a state that video signal components are sufficiently removed. Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of any buzz sound due to a video signal.
