PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing the scattering of a coating solution from a coating roll is provided to prevent defects generated from the drop of a coating solution on a strip and to prevent the frequent malfunction of facilities. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing the scattering of a coating solution from a coating roll includes a supporting part, a scattering preventive part, and a scattering blocking part. The supporting part includes a vertical frame(29) and connecting brackets(21, 21b, 21c) in connection with the upper side of the vertical frame. The scattering preventive part includes a scattering preventive roll(36) and a scattering preventive plate(37). The scattering preventive part is in connection with the connecting brackets using a connecting unit. The scattering preventive plate is formed on the upper side of the scattering preventive roll. The scattering blocking part is in connection with the vertical frame using a connecting unit. The roll shaft(8) of a coating roll(4) passes through the center of the scattering blocking part. |
