PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for remotely managing various devices such as a cooling system for food. SOLUTION: This method is to include a step in which a read value of a sensor is generated from a sensor 102 located on or near equipment to be monitored in order to remotely monitor operating parameters of the equipment, the read value of the sensor is transmitted to a processor 106, the transmitted read value of the sensor 102 is processed with respect to a predetermined standard value to decide whether or not the transmitted read value of the sensor violates a standard, and if the transmitted read value of the sensor violates the standard, a signal is automatically transmitted to the equipment site.
