PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye laser device which has high output, high repetition, and high redundancy by increasing the use efficiency of an exited laser beam. SOLUTION: The dye laser device obtains a dye laser beam output by irradiating an excitation area of a flow cell where a dye solution as a laser medium flows with an excited laser beam guided by an optical fiber 21 fixed to an optical fiber guide 22. A plurality of optical fibers 21 having resin-made protection coatings 44 and 45 around respective cores 41 and clad layers 42 are used as a means for guiding the excited laser beam to the flow cell. The cores 41 and clad layers 42 of tip exposed parts 46 including the cores and clad layers of the respective fibers 21 are made thinner than the protection coatings 44 and 45, and sheathed with a metallic pipe 47 a specific distance back from the tip exposed parts 46. The metallic pipe 47 is clamped and fixed to the optical fiber guide 22, so that the optical fibers 21 are gathered densely in the optical fiber guide 22 and detachably fixed. |
