<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cast communication system that can relieve a processing load on a reception terminal for communication processing so as to efficiently utilize the network and provide limited information to a plurality of selected users in a communication network having a multi-cast function. SOLUTION: A transmission terminal 101 transmits group identification information to identify distribution destination group to reception terminals B, D, E being client terminals for multicast distribution, each terminal receiving the group identification information makes registration to take part in a designated group and enters a data reception waiting state to the designated group. When the transmission terminal 101 transmits a series of data packets to the designated group, each terminal starts receiving the data packets.</p> |
