The parquet system comprises tiles (1,2) or strips provided with grooves (3,4) on all sides and connecting strips (5) which fit into opposing groove cross-sections. The connecting strips are bevelled at an angle of 45 degrees (6) at both ends and on both sides. The connecting strips are provided in one or more places with notches to indicate saw cutting points.
