Visible indication of consumption level in a domestic gas bottle, uses weight of bottle on spring loaded base and three color band placed on bottle, springs raise bottle as gas is consumed

The gas consumption indicator has support (2) on which gas bottle is placed so as to compress supports springs (3). The support is fitted in base (1) both of which come into contact with guide fingers (4,5) as gas is consumed. As the gas bottle becomes lighter springs extend and push support upwards guided by fingers (4,5). Support has on its circumference three color band (6) which gives visual indication of gas remaining in bottle. The support is independent of gas bottle and supports diameter is greater than bottle diameter. The springs are calibrated with respect to the gas bottle used and gas employed. The band corresponds to the type of spring used. The diameter and height of the guide fingers vary as a function of the springs used. The bands colors ( green, yellow, red) each represent a gas consumption level. Green represents a consumption between 0 to 50 percent, Yellow 50 to 75 percent and Red 75 to 100 percent.
