<p>The invention relates to a piston (1) for a combustion engine comprising an annular cooling duct (9), which is placed in the vicinity of the piston head (2) and whose inside wall has projections projecting inside the cooling duct (9). These projections are formed by a spiral coil (15), which is situated inside the cooling duct (9) and which rests against the inside wall of the cooling duct (9). This makes it easily possible for the cooling oil flowing through the cooling duct (9) to swirl whereby improving the cooling action thereof.</p> |
