A basket coil comprises a hub (10) for a basket (50). The hub has a hub body on the machine side and a hob sleeve body positioned on it. The basket has two axially spaced rings (58, 60) and a hoop element (62) connecting the rings. An insulating ring (56) is fixed on the end section (54) of the hub sleeve body to cover one of the basket rings. Preferred Features: The end section of the hub sleeve body is formed as a concentric collar (24). The insulating ring has locking fingers (66) and feed elements (68) on its inner peripheral edge (64) to fix to the collar.
