PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-resistant partition wall allowing internal decorative sheets to be used as building material boards forming the fire-resistant partition wall without specifically curing wall surfaces when a ceiling is constructed and a method of constructing the partition wall in the method of constructing the partition wall of fire-resistant structure extending between upper and lower horizontal fire-resistant divisions. SOLUTION: Vertical framework members 10 extending between the horizontal fire-resistant divisions F1 and F2 are orderly arranged along a wall axis, and a backing board 2 forming a backing surface material is fixed to the vertical framework members to form a backing surface continuously extending between the horizontal fire-resistant divisions. A first decorative board 3a forming a finish surface material is installed on the upper part of the backing surface, and a ceiling finish material 5 is installed so that the edge part thereof is connected to the first decorative board. Then a second decorative board 3b forming the finish surface material is installed on the lower part of the backing surface. The upper edge of the first decorative board reaches the upper side horizontal fire-resistant division, and the lower edge of the first decorative board is positioned lower than the ceiling finish material. The upper edge of the second decorative board is connected to the lower edge of the first decorative board. |
