PURPOSE: A double folding seat apparatus for a vehicle is provided to conveniently and easily fold a seat by automatically folding a seat cushion and the seat back through just one time-operation. CONSTITUTION: In a folding seat comprised of a seat cushion and the seat back folded by a rotating shaft, an operating lever(17) installed at the rotating shaft(13) of the seat cushion is rotated according to the revolution mark of the seat cushion and moves together with a joining part(18) coupled to a joining groove(17a). Accordingly, a latch(15) connected with the operating lever by an interlocking wire(16) releases the locking of a fixing part(20) installed to the seat back(12) and the seat back is automatically turned forward by a torsion spring elastically installed at the fixing part and a rotating shaft(14) of the seat back. A damper(19) for controlling the folding speed is installed to a side of the rotating shaft(14) so that the seat back can be smoothly turned and folded. The locking and releasing of the latch is easily performed because the fixing part has a gear structure.
