PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food heating container wherein both of sealability when a food is preserved, and a favorable air permeability when the food is heated can be ensured, and also, there is no fear for an accidental removal of the lid body from the container main body when the food is heated. SOLUTION: This food heating container is equipped with the container main body which has an opening at the upper section, and the lid body which closes the opening. In this case, the food heating container is constituted in such a manner that a fitting section provided on the peripheral edge section of the lid body is fitted on a section to be fitted which is provided at the upper end section of the main body, and thus, the opening is closed. In such a food heating container, on either one of the fitting section or the section to be fitted, a protruding section to form a gap between the fitting section and the section to be fitted is formed. Then, a recess being formed into a shape in which the protruding section is fitted is formed on the other section. The fitting section of the lid body can be fitted on the section to be fitted of the main body in both case of a sealed state and an air permeable state. In this case, under the sealed state, the opening is closed under a sealed state by fitting the protruding section and the recess each other. Under the air permeable state, the protruding section is not fitted in the recess, but comes into contact with one wherein the recess is formed between the fitting section and the section to be fitted, and the gap is formed between the fitting section and the section to be fitted. |
