PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupling circuit in which further reduction in cost is attained through miniaturization of optical functional elements and in which stability of optical characteristics is assured. SOLUTION: An optical filter 43 is arranged at a position between a pair of lenses 41, 42 on one face of the base substrate 30. The optical filter 43 is fixed on the optical filter mounting member 46 that is fastened on the mounting part 39 of the base substrate 30. The optical filter mounting member 46 is formed with a slit 47 into which the lower end of the optical filter 43 is inserted. The slit 47 extends in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the lenses 41, 42, in a state where the optical filter mounting member 46 is fastened on the base substrate 30. The optical filter 43 is fixed on the optical filter mounting member 46, with a part of the filter inserted in the slit 47, by filling and hardening a filler such as a resin (e.g. an epoxy resin-based adhesive) in a gap between the optical filter 43 and the slit 47.
